Summer School - Ready, Set, Go!

Grade 9 Transition (Ready, Set, Go!…)

With a focus on Belonging, Teaching and Learning, and Wellness for all, Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District
School Board wishes to provide students entering Gr. 9 in September 2024, the tools for realizing their fullest
potential to support their transition to secondary school. During the last week in August, we are pleased to offer an
optional non-credit bearing three-day program which orients new grade 9 students to their secondary school, while
focusing on improving literacy skills through robust learning tasks.

Ready Set Go program dates;


Monday, August 26, 2024
Tuesday, August 27, 2024
Wednesday, August 28, 2024

9 am to 1 pm

Assumption College School; Holy Trinity Catholic High School; St. John’s College

This three-day program is designed to reach in-risk students as they transition from Grade 8 to Grade 9. As such,
please carefully consider the following criteria to assist in identifying the students who would benefit from this support.
